What you will do

• Own the technical direction of the frontend platform, including systems and architecture for web and mobile.
• Evolve the design system into a foundational platform consumable by engineers, designers, and AI agents.
• Lead platform initiatives such as framework upgrades, React Native modernization, and Expo adoption.
• Own the migration of legacy components to the v2 design system, creating the necessary tooling and documentation.
• Improve developer experience through shared tooling, automation, and templates to increase engineering velocity.
• Identify and systematically eliminate friction points that slow down the building process.

Requirements

• Significant experience building production software with a focus on frontend systems.
• Deep expertise in React and TypeScript, with strong full-stack engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with React Native or mobile development.
• Proficiency with modern design systems and Figma.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools like Cursor or Claude to accelerate development workflows.
• Ability to own a technical roadmap and operate effectively within an engineering organization.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Storybook, style-dictionary, or design token pipelines.
• Experience with animation and interaction frameworks (Framer Motion, Rive, Lottie).
