What you will do

• Develop and execute the Japan sales expansion strategy to acquire new clients and grow business.
• Identify target accounts, build pipelines, and manage opportunities through prospecting, negotiation, contracting, onboarding, and initial transactions.
• Advise banks, non-bank financial institutions, corporates, and multinational organizations on foreign exchange and payment solutions.
• Partner with pre-sales and product teams to design and implement client-specific solutions.
• Localize sales materials, onboarding guides, product documentation, and processes for the Japanese market.
• Manage early-stage and existing client relationships, improve satisfaction, and identify additional growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in business development, account management, or solution-based B2B sales.
• Proven success acquiring new business, meeting targets, and growing revenue from existing accounts.
• Experience selling to financial institutions and corporates, preferably in payments, financial services, or fintech.
• Strong consultative selling, executive communication, complex negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Understanding of financial drivers, foreign exchange, payments, regulatory requirements, and compliance.
• Native-level Japanese and business-level English required.
