What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of platform engineers while managing performance and talent growth.
• Own AWS cloud foundations across compute, networking, identity, and core services as the technical owner and escalation point.
• Manage Kubernetes production infrastructure at scale, supporting platform resilience, lifecycle management, and upgrades.
• Establish cloud cost observability, tagging, reporting, attribution, and accountability practices.
• Evaluate and manage AWS Savings Plans and Reserved Instances using usage forecasts to improve cost efficiency.
• Partner with Security and Platform leadership on standards, roadmaps, incident response, and cross-team priorities.

Requirements

• Legal eligibility to work in Canada from the selected start date.
• 5+ years of experience in a cloud platform or infrastructure-focused organization.
• Production experience managing Kubernetes at scale, including cluster lifecycle and upgrades.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS compute, networking, IAM, identity, and core services.
• Experience leading, coaching, or managing engineers and growing and retaining talent.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and GitOps practices, including Terraform and Helm, plus strong cross-functional communication skills.
