Engineering Manager (Cloud Infrastructure)

Salary: $144,000 – $180,000

What you will do

• Manage a distributed team of engineers, including 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development.
• Own the technical roadmap for shared cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS.
• Set and enforce standards for infrastructure-as-code, documentation, and operational readiness.
• Make technical decisions for application-layer infrastructure including Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, and Redis.
• Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams to maintain FedRAMP and SOC 2 controls.
• Promote the use of AI-assisted tooling and LLM-based automation in engineering workflows.

Requirements

• 8+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• 3+ years of direct people management experience.
• Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS, Kubernetes, and microservices.
• Experience running critical production-level SaaS products with high availability.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP-authorized environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Advanced RabbitMQ configuration experience (clustering, federation).
• Background in cloud cost management and capacity planning.
• Experience with SOC 2 or PCI compliance controls.
