What you will do

• Lead the engineering team responsible for internal control platforms and environment controls.
• Drive the evolution of configuration management, traffic routing, and internal infrastructure tooling.
• Own the technical direction and decisions regarding API architecture and automation frameworks.
• Mentor and grow engineers through coaching and structured career development.
• Collaborate with Production Engineering, SRE, and Developer Infrastructure to ensure consistent tooling across the organization.
• Manage the roadmap, adoption, and reliability of critical infrastructure tools.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, specifically in internal tooling, infrastructure automation, or distributed systems.
• 4+ years of experience managing and growing engineering teams.
• Strong backend background with professional proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Proven track record of delivering and owning multi-year engineering initiatives.
• Must be comfortable working in hybrid, in-person settings.
