What you will do

• Design frames, actuators, joints, linkages, and mechanisms for hirify.global robots using CAD software.
• Apply GD&T principles under ASME Y14.5 and produce drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
• Select materials and manufacturing methods while balancing strength, weight, cost, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Lead prototyping with 3D printing and CNC machining, then perform mechanical testing to validate performance and durability.
• Integrate mechanical components with electrical and software systems in collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety features aligned with applicable robotics standards.

Requirements

• Strong background in mechanical design, statics, dynamics, and material science.
• Experience with SolidWorks or comparable CAD tools and GD&T based on ASME Y14.5.
• Knowledge of CNC machining, 3D printing, and injection molding.
• Hands-on experience building and testing prototypes.
• Understanding of safety standards such as ISO 10218 and risk assessment methods.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
