Salary: $57,500 annually (starting base)

What you will do

• Create technical 3D models and associated 2D drawings of components based on layouts, schematics, and standards.
• Develop detailed parts lists for hydro generator components.
• Verify drawings and parts bills to ensure quality and conformity to customer and internal specifications.
• Provide guidance and check the work of other team members on specific projects.
• Coordinate with local engineering teams, project management, and manufacturing facilities.

Requirements

• Mechanical Technician diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical detailed design for hydro applications (preferred).
• Prior experience using 3D CAD software, specifically Unigraphics (NX).
• Legal status to work in Canada is required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word).
