Location: Hamburg, Germany; hybrid work with regular presence in the Hamburg studio

What you will do

• Own the people agenda for the Hamburg studio, covering engagement, culture, retention, and organisational growth.
• Advise and coach leaders and managers, develop leadership programmes, and improve people decision-making.
• Partner with studio leadership on organisational design and workforce planning.
• Lead performance and compensation cycles, including calibration and pay decisions.
• Handle complex employee relations, change situations, and other sensitive matters requiring discretion.
• Shape local benefits and wellbeing strategy while providing data-driven input to central HR functions.

Requirements

• Experience as an HR Business Partner, People & Culture Manager, or in a comparable role with sufficient scope to operate independently.
• Credibility with senior leaders and confidence to challenge executive decisions constructively.
• Working knowledge of German labour law and the ability to apply it commercially.
• Interest in people data and AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini.
• Comfort working in a matrix organisation with central functions and international colleagues.
• Fluent English and presence in Hamburg are required; German is a plus but not required.
