Director, Data & Analytics (Crypto)

What you will do

• Own the direction, roadmap, and operating model for Product Data & Analytics.
• Recruit, hire, and lead Data Scientists, Analytics Engineers, and Data Analysts.
• Design the organization structure, leveling framework, and career paths for the function.
• Standardize product metrics, experimentation, dashboards, and reusable data products.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to embed analytics throughout the product lifecycle.
• Set technical and quality standards, mentor leads and senior individual contributors, and report impact to senior leadership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or analytics engineering, including substantial management or leadership experience.
• Experience building and scaling a data or analytics function, including hiring across multiple disciplines.
• Strong experience partnering with Product and Engineering teams on analytics and experimentation.
• Technical fluency in data modeling and experimentation design across the disciplines managed.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Active interest in cryptocurrency and Web3, with comfort working in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.

• Experience in fintech, payments, or crypto.
