Location: Remote, USA or Canada

Salary: $247,000–$366,000 USD for candidates based in the US; $286,000–$339,000 CAD for candidates based in Canada.

What you will do

• Lead and develop decision scientists and data scientists focused on MAU.
• Own the MAU driver model, company-level forecast, and exploratory analysis guiding growth strategy.
• Establish standards for scoping, conducting, reviewing, and documenting analysis.
• Partner with Revenue Analytics and Data Engineering leadership on common metrics, experimentation standards, and unified operating practices.
• Build an operating model that embeds analytics into product and engineering roadmaps.
• Shape AI-native workflows by using agents and automated analysis while defining the role of human judgment.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or decision science, including 5+ years managing people in a senior leadership role.
• Deep expertise in inferential and causal analytics, with the ability to lead ML practitioners.
• Expertise in engagement, retention, churn, cohort metrics, and forecasting company-level metrics.
• SQL plus Python or R; experience with Databricks, experimentation tools such as Statsig, Tableau or similar BI tools, and AI-native BI tools such as Hex or AI/BI.
• Hands-on experience using coding agents such as Claude Code or an equivalent in analytical work.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Experience designing experiments that identify and control for network effects.
• Master’s degree or PhD in social science, psychology, behavioral science, or a related field.
• Experience leading teams embedded with product and engineering organizations.
• Experience in a B2C subscription business.
