Prescribing Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Mental Health)

Location: Hybrid in the United States; full-time U.S. residency required, with office space to see clients in Trenton.

What you will do

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric medication management through intake and follow-up appointments.
• Conduct mental health risk assessments and psychiatric medication evaluations.
• Develop patient-centered treatment plans and provide longitudinal medication treatment.
• Document recommendations, message patients, and prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
• Provide culturally responsive care to children, teens, and young adults across a range of diagnoses, needs, and severity levels.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited CCNE Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program, or an accredited ARC-PA physician assistant program with PANCE certification.
• Hold an unrestricted state license.
• Have at least 2 years of professional practice experience.
• Be a full-time resident of the United States and have office space with the ability to see clients in Trenton.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medication treatment in accordance with clinical best-practice guidelines.
• Be able to treat patients with a full range of diagnoses, clinical complexity, and severity levels.

Nice to have

• Active DEA license.
• Psychiatry certification, postgraduate psychiatry fellowship, or related academic psychiatry certification.
• Additional certification or clinical experience working with minors.
• Ability to offer in-person care.
