Telehealth Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Remote) - New Jersey License

Salary: $110,000–$125,000 USD annually, plus benefits

What you will do

• Provide evidence-based, compassionate clinical care for patients receiving medication for opioid use disorder and treatment for depression, anxiety, insomnia, and related conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and adjust them when patients are not improving as expected.
• Conduct intake, follow-up, behavioral health, and psychiatric evaluations as assigned.
• Use motivational interviewing, behavioral activation, and other brief behavioral interventions to support treatment adherence.
• Monitor symptoms, side effects, treatment response, adherence, complications, and medication effectiveness; prescribe or queue appropriate medications.
• Educate patients about opioid use disorder and medication treatment, and document encounters accurately in the EHR.

Requirements

• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Fully licensed to practice in New Jersey.
• Active DEA license for Schedule 3N, 4, and 5 substances, or willingness to obtain one after receiving an offer.
• Ability to provide patient-centered, non-judgmental care to vulnerable, marginalized, and diverse populations.
• Comfort working remotely across multiple technology platforms in a telehealth environment.
• Working knowledge of differential diagnosis for common substance use disorders, psychopharmacology for opioid use disorder, and evidence-based psychosocial treatments.

Nice to have

• Additional active licenses in Pennsylvania, New York, Virginia, or Maryland.
• Previous experience caring for people with opioid use disorder or prescribing medication for opioid use disorder.
