is a maritime software provider creating the Helm CONNECT platform to optimize business intelligence for maritime companies globally.
What you will do
- Elicit and validate business requirements through stakeholder interviews and product discovery activities.
- Translate customer needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
- Maintain a groomed backlog and utilize AI tools (Claude) for first-draft documentation and gap detection.
- Document current and future state workflows, business rules, and system behaviors.
- Develop test scenarios for QA/UAT and track delivery against acceptance criteria.
- Analyze product usage, support tickets, and stakeholder feedback to inform prioritization and reporting.
Requirements
- Experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst within a software or technology environment.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft 365.
- Practical experience using Claude or similar generative AI tools in a professional environment.
- Solid understanding of PDLC and ability to read data via SQL, Excel, or BI platforms.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Must be based in British Columbia, Canada.
Nice to have
- CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA certification.
