What you will do
- Engage stakeholders to gather requirements and design Epic builds aligned with operational goals and policies.
- Configure records, master files, and security classes for Professional Billing and Claims modules.
- Develop and execute unit, integrated, and UAT test plans to resolve defects and validate workflows.
- Collaborate with interface teams on HL7, FHIR, and CCDA exchange workflows.
- Manage training curricula and maintain readiness of training environments for end-users.
- Coordinate release management, environment moves, and provide post-live hypercare support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Healthcare Administration, or 10+ years of related experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in system analysis and support within a healthcare environment.
- Proven experience with Epic applications and healthcare workflows (clinical or revenue cycle).
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, workflow design, and testing.
- Familiarity with ITIL, SDLC practices, and Waterfall/Agile project methodologies.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity from Columbus, OH.
Nice to have
- Current Epic Certification or Proficiency in modules such as HB, PB, Cadence, Referrals, or ClinDoc.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Experience with SQL, Clarity, Caboodle, or SlicerDicer.
- Experience in a large healthcare system or hospital setting.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or higher) in a related field.
