Salary: $119,000–$179,000 base salary per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits

What you will do

• Architect FHIR-compliant data models aligned with implementation guides, profiles, and internal standards.
• Design and operationalize data harmonization and enrichment strategies for EHR, HIE, and claims data.
• Define and maintain clinical ontologies and custom value sets using SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10, and RxNorm.
• Establish validation frameworks and automated rules to ensure clinical accuracy, consistency, and longitudinal data integrity.
• Document data designs and requirements for engineering teams and stakeholders with different levels of technical expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related technical field.
• Professional certificate or master’s degree in Clinical Informatics, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in clinical informatics or healthcare and life sciences data integration.
• Proficiency with HL7 v2, FHIR, CDA/CCD-A, NCPDP, FHIR R4/R5, and OMOP.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

• Hands-on experience with dbt and Jupyter Notebooks.
• Experience in healthcare data integration.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
