What you will do

• Develop applications and optimize process performance on ion beam systems through learning and demos.
• Create and maintain Best Known Methods (BKM) for process control, development, and continuous improvement.
• Plan and implement measures to enhance system hardware performance and diagnostics.
• Resolve process problems and collaborate with service and engineering teams to drive solutions.
• Present technical product aspects to customers and sales channels.
• Provide technical training and assistance to internal team members, customers, and partners.

Requirements

• BS degree with 5+ years of experience, MS with 3+ years, or a PhD in engineering, physics, or chemistry.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in customer support or management.
• Knowledge of semiconductor device modules and process integration in logic and/or memory fabrication.
• Understanding of thin film deposition processes and hardware.
• Must be based in Hiroshima, Japan.
• Ability to travel occasionally to the corporate office in Plainview, New York.
