HMI Japan Field Team Manager (e-Beam Inspection & Metrology)

Location: Tokyo, Japan. The role requires access to controlled technology under United States export regulations; candidates must be legally authorized to access the technology before starting work.

What you will do

• Lead HMI Japan field activities for new-product penetration and customer technical engagement.
• Collaborate with local account CT and sales managers to develop product promotion and customer engagement strategies.
• Own end-to-end engagement projects for inspection and metrology tools at customer R&D and high-volume manufacturing sites.
• Translate customer technical requirements into input for product marketing and account teams.
• Coordinate field application, central project, product marketing, and other project teams to deliver SOWs and support HMI market share growth.
• Collect and assess customer technology-roadmap information and competitive intelligence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in physical sciences, optics, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, materials science, mathematics, or a related field.
• Knowledge of e-beam inspection or semiconductor processes.
• Strong Japanese speaking and writing skills required.
• Excellent Japanese and English communication skills required.
• Experience with project management, coordination, presentation, and customer communication.
• Self-driven, flexible, able to manage multiple tasks under pressure, and committed to team success.
