What you will do

• Supervise survey crews to perform exact measurements and determine site layouts for construction.
• Create and manage models using Leica, Topcon, and Trimble systems.
• Prepare survey maps, sketches, and legal descriptions using AutoCad and Carlson GPS.
• Verify accuracy of survey data, including geodetic measurements and terrain characteristics.
• Train and direct instrumentmen, rodmen, and helpers in surveying activities.
• Lead safety planning and implement lockout/tag-out procedures to ensure zero injuries.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial construction with layout/survey responsibilities.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency in AutoCad, BlueBeam, and mathematical calculations for survey data.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screens, and motor vehicle records searches.
• Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and working in extreme weather conditions.

Nice to have

• Drone certification with TOPO experience.
• NCCER certifications in Site Layout, Crew Leadership, Project Supervision, or Project Management.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
