Senior Strategy Officers, Postsecondary Team (Limited Term Roles)

Location: Seattle, WA, United States

Salary: $209,100–$324,100 USD annually in Seattle and Washington, D.C.; the general range is $190,100–$294,700 USD.

What you will do

• Lead strategy development projects for Innovative Models and provide flexible strategy support across Postsecondary Courseware and Navigation workstreams.
• Lead strategic operations, portfolio management, investment planning, and alignment support for the Pathways Navigation team, including advising and credit mobility.
• Design qualitative and quantitative analyses, define measurable outcomes, track progress, and communicate findings with clarity and rigor.
• Manage investment pipelines and portfolios, coordinate due diligence, surface risks, and prepare written funding recommendations.
• Facilitate engagement across internal and external stakeholders and create strategy updates, briefing materials, and executive presentations.
• Use AI-enabled tools to accelerate strategy work and support team meetings, retreats, convenings, and operational problem-solving.

Requirements

• Advanced degree or equivalent demonstrated experience in strategy consulting, public policy, education, economics, or a related field.
• Significant experience in strategy development, structured problem-solving, and end-to-end program or portfolio management within a complex organization.
• Significant qualitative and quantitative analysis experience, with mastery-level written, verbal, and visual presentation skills.
• Experience working with postsecondary institutions, state education agencies, technology developers, intermediary organizations, or innovative higher-education organizations.
• Experience building operating systems, investment pipelines, portfolio tracking, and team operating models, including due diligence and funding recommendations.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization in the United States. Immigration-related sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• Strong preference for either the 9-month Innovative Models role or the 18-month Pathways Navigation role, stated in the cover letter.
