TL;DR
Law Enforcement Liaison (Mississippi) (Public Policy and Trust & Safety): Developing law enforcement and safety relationships in Mississippi while supporting Roblox’s platform safety efforts, external education, and emergency response with an accent on child safety, regional policy, and stakeholder engagement. Focus on coordinating with federal, state, and local agencies, analyzing online safety developments, drafting investigations, and managing high-profile initiatives with frequent travel and on-call support.

Location: Remote, based in Mississippi, United States. Frequent travel and weekend and holiday on-call support are required.

What you will do

  • Develop strategic relationships with law enforcement agencies in Mississippi and support global outreach when needed.
  • Coordinate with federal, state, and local law enforcement, including the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office.
  • Plan educational programs for law enforcement, parents, and educators on platform safety, law enforcement response policies, and NCMEC CyberTip initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze law enforcement, online safety, and policy developments affecting Roblox in Mississippi.
  • Provide guidance on regional safety concerns and help implement scalable platform safety improvements.
  • Collaborate with Legal & Advocacy, Safety, Product, and Communications teams on emergencies, escalations, and investigations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in law enforcement, intelligence, government, trust and safety, or an adjacent field.
  • Detailed knowledge of Mississippi and Southeastern US law enforcement communities, policymakers, and regional online safety challenges.
  • Experience with public speaking, short-notice travel, relationship building, and independently defining work processes.
  • Outstanding communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-profile, time-sensitive initiatives in an ambiguous and dynamic environment.
  • Integrity, collegiality, resilience, and grit.
