What you will do

• Develop, draft, implement, and maintain strategic advertising policies across Reddit’s ads products.
• Act as the advertising policy subject matter expert for the EMEA region.
• Prepare risk assessments and policy recommendations for senior cross-functional and executive stakeholders.
• Partner with Legal, Sales, Operations, Product, and Trust & Safety Policy teams on high-impact advertising policy projects.
• Make risk-balanced decisions on complex, ambiguous advertising policy escalations.
• Provide senior peer guidance and support to colleagues without direct people-management responsibilities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in compliance, standards, or policy development and implementation.
• Significant experience in technology, digital platforms, advertising, Trust & Safety, or a related policy function.
• Deep expertise in international advertising or content policy and experience advising stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
• Demonstrated ability to independently research, draft, implement, and maintain complex policies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex policy and regulatory matters in clear business terms.
• Exceptional ability to structure ambiguous problems into decision documents covering risks, trade-offs, and proposed solutions.
