What you will do

• Develop, draft, implement, and maintain strategic advertising policies across Reddit’s ads products.
• Act as the advertising policy subject matter expert for the EMEA region.
• Prepare risk assessments and policy recommendations for senior cross-functional and executive stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Legal, Sales, Operations, Product, and Trust & Safety Policy teams on high-impact advertising policy projects.
• Resolve complex, ambiguous ads policy escalations with clear, risk-balanced decisions.
• Provide guidance to teammates as a senior individual contributor without people-management responsibilities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in compliance, standards, or policy development and implementation.
• Significant experience in technology, digital platforms, advertising, Trust & Safety, or a related policy function.
• Experience researching, drafting, implementing, and maintaining complex policies independently.
• Deep expertise in international advertising or content policy and experience advising stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex policy and regulatory matters in clear business terms.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems into decision documents covering risks, trade-offs, and proposed solutions.

• Experience developing advertising policies for a major technology platform.
