Associate Legal Counsel (Gaming)

Location: Hybrid role associated with St Helier, Jersey and London; the final interview takes place in the Jersey office.

What you will do

• Review, draft, and negotiate customer and supplier commercial agreements using contract playbooks and templates.
• Provide practical legal advice to Commercial, Product, Marketing, and Strategy stakeholders.
• Support legal research, licensing initiatives, and gaming regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Assist with intellectual property ownership, licensing, protection, and content-related matters.
• Develop legal templates, playbooks, and self-service guidance to improve efficiency and reduce turnaround times.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales or equivalent, with approximately 1–3 years of post-qualification experience.
• Experience in a commercial, corporate, technology, or in-house legal environment.
• Strong grounding in commercial law and experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Clear written and verbal communication, strong stakeholder management, and a pragmatic commercial mindset.
• Proactive ownership of work, with the judgment to seek guidance when needed.

Hiring process

• Introductory 30-minute conversation with a Talent Partner via Teams.
• 60-minute interview with the General Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel covering commercial legal experience, contract negotiation, and stakeholder partnering.
• Informal coffee chat with the General Counsel in Jersey, followed by a values interview with a People Partner in the Jersey office.
