What you will do

• Supervise a team of structural engineers, designers, and technicians in producing construction documents and specifications.
• Develop cost-effective system layouts and perform complex calculations and interdisciplinary coordination.
• Conduct site visits for documentation and cost estimating of existing systems and building conditions.
• Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and maintain strong client relationships.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with regional managers on workload allocation and the preparation of business proposals.

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the consulting engineering industry.
• BS in Civil Engineering is required.
• New York State PE license is required.
• Must be based in Buffalo, NY for on-site work.
• Essential experience with computer analysis software.
• Strong professional writing and communication skills.
