What you will do

• Conduct damage assessments from water intrusion, wind, vibration, impact, construction issues, and building envelope failures.
• Perform site inspections using 3D scanning, testing, failure analysis, and data collection.
• Provide post-damage repair scopes, temporary support designs for structures and foundations.
• Prepare technical reports, deliver presentations, and testify as an expert witness in depositions and trials.
• Enhance knowledge through continuing education, publications, and technical papers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Civil, Mechanical, or similar Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• 10+ years of forensic engineering, consulting, or relevant industry experience
• Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and curiosity for evidence-based investigations
• Proficiency or willingness to learn relevant computer programs
• General Contractor license and expert witness experience strongly preferred
