Head of Environment (AI)

Location: San Francisco; in-person in the San Francisco office 3+ days per week, with regular travel to other locations

Salary: $260,000–$300,000 annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Own the global workplace and real estate strategy as the company scales from approximately 300 to more than 2,000 employees.
• Lead real estate planning, site selection, office expansions, international locations, and significant capital investments.
• Operate office buildouts, relocations, launches, and day-to-day workplace operations with a high standard of quality and hospitality.
• Shape the design, amenities, traditions, and employee and guest experiences that express the company’s identity.
• Lead and develop the Workplace Experience team and build scalable systems and operating models.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience leading Workplace, Environment, Employee Experience, or a similar function at a hypergrowth technology company.
• Experience scaling workplace functions across multiple U.S. and international offices, from hundreds to thousands of employees.
• Ability to build trust with founders and senior leaders and make independent decisions during rapid growth.
• Strong strategic, analytical, and cross-functional leadership skills, including experience with significant real estate investments.
• Exceptional attention to detail, quality standards, hospitality mindset, and experience building scalable systems.
• Must be based in San Francisco and spend the majority of the time in the office.
