What you will do

• Provide individualized 1:1 instruction focused on GED course material and placement test preparation.
• Guide the student through key reading comprehension techniques and mathematical concepts.
• Assist with basic computer skills required for navigating online coursework and testing.
• Implement structured and engaging learning strategies tailored to an adult learner.
• Track academic progress and adjust the instructional pace based on community college coursework.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with GED Course and Test Prep.
• Ability to teach foundational math, reading strategies, and digital literacy.
• Experience working with adult learners in an educational or tutoring setting.
• Must be based in Flagstaff, AZ for in-person tutoring.
• Availability: Mondays (before 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM), Tuesdays & Thursdays (after 12:00 PM), and Wednesdays & Fridays (11:00 AM – 1:00 PM or after 4:00 PM).
