Speech Language Pathologist

What you will do

• Evaluate and treat school-aged students virtually according to IDEA and state rules and regulations.
• Develop and implement evidence-based speech programs, treatment practices, and therapy interventions.
• Manage student scheduling, treatment plans, and assigned therapy services to support student progress.
• Collaborate with parents, school personnel, and students (when applicable) on testing results and recommended approaches.
• Create timely, accurate documentation and reporting for direct and indirect student services, including IEP meeting compliance timelines.
• Maintain student confidentiality and comply with FERPA; respond to parent, school, and company requests within required timeframes.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in communication disorders or speech-language pathology.
• At least 1 year of experience in an educational setting (or an acceptable combination of education and experience).
• SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain; SLP licensure in at least one US state.
• Completion of the Clinical Fellowship experience with ASHA CCC awarded.
• Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance within the first two weeks of employment.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability.

Nice to have

• Previous teletherapy experience.
• Experience participating in IEP meetings and completing educational eligibility determinations and comprehensive reports.
• Experience with school-based therapy PK-12.
