Location: On-site in Chicago, Illinois; candidates must live in, near, or be open to relocating to the Chicago area. The role supports districts across the Midwest, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, requires up to 80% travel, considerable driving, and a valid driver's license with personal transportation.

Salary: $30–$65.63 per hour, with compensation for professional learning delivery, internal training, travel time, and travel expenses.

What you will do

• Facilitate on-site professional development, product training, and learning courses for teachers, coaches, and school administrators.
• Support effective implementation of Ready and i-Ready to improve classroom learning and equity.
• Provide tailored lesson planning, pacing, instructional, and implementation support.
• Help educators and school leaders analyze assessment data and apply findings to instruction.
• Adjust workshops to participant needs and collaborate with professional learning and sales teams.
• Track training notes, complete assignments, and participate in coaching and professional improvement cycles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience teaching ELA or Reading, coaching teachers, and delivering related professional development.
• Strong knowledge of Common Core State Standards for K–8 ELA or Reading, or comparable state standards.
• Comfort using digital tools and online assessments and applying data with educators and leaders.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and their application to professional development.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
• Valid driver’s license, personal transportation, and ability to travel up to 80% are required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in ELA or Reading.
• Bilingual and biliterate English/Spanish communication skills.
• Experience with online meeting tools such as Zoom or Webex.

• Per diem, as-needed scheduling primarily during normal school hours, with seasonal peaks from August through October and January through February.
