What you will do

• Design mechanical components, systems, and products using Revit software.
• Conduct engineering calculations for heat loads and air flows to ensure design performance and integrity.
• Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including design specifications, plans, and reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior engineers to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
• Support the selection and evaluation of materials, components, and equipment processes.
• Assist in quality control and assurance processes during production.

Requirements

• 3-8 years of experience working in the consulting engineering industry.
• Proficiency in Revit software.
• Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Raleigh, NC.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes such as ASHRAE and IMC.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC Design.
