Salary: $93,800 – $125,100

What you will do

• Design and develop simple, reliable, and high-quality software that scales for a growing customer base.
• Implement and maintain tests to ensure safe refactoring and high-level system functionality.
• Perform long-term maintenance including performance optimization, bug fixes, and automation.
• Create comprehensive system documentation to ensure maintainability.
• Participate in an on-call rotation as a first responder for team-owned software.

Requirements

• Experience designing and implementing features in cloud-based backend systems.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language such as C#, Java, Go, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles.
• Experience using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with the Agile Scrum process.
• Must be based in the US and able to work from the Boston office on core days (typically Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday).
