What you will do

• Own storage systems handling sensitive enterprise documents, permission hierarchies, and behavioral signals.
• Develop high-availability, performant, and secure storage options across multiple cloud providers.
• Design and launch impactful infrastructure projects from inception to production.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code and detailed design documents.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate on roadmap prioritization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Experience with infrastructure for distributed systems or cloud-native applications.
• Proficiency with storage systems such as databases, object stores, or distributed file systems.
• Strong coding skills in Go, Python, Java, or C++.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid (4 days/week) in Mountain View, CA.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud-native development in GCP, AWS, or Azure.
