What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain real-time and historical data pipelines.
• Build and maintain documented libraries and APIs for vehicle dataset management.
• Collaborate on front-end interfaces to visualize data and support fleet operations.
• Partner with autonomy and platform teams to ensure system compatibility.
• Optimize data processing workflows for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring tools to ensure system reliability.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA
• B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming (Python, Rust, or Java).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and deployment practices.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.

Nice to have

• Experience building data-processing pipelines in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of data warehousing or data lake concepts.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and telemetry systems.
• Understanding of real-time data processing and distributed systems.
