Location: Hybrid (Must be based in the US and work from one of hirify.global's offices at least 3 days per week)

Salary: $116K–$174K per year

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Develop and manage data infrastructure using AWS and Terraform.
• Collaborate with data scientists and autonomy engineering teams to build tailored data solutions.
• Optimize data processing systems for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging to ensure operational stability.
• Promote best practices in data governance, quality, and security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on data projects.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or C++.
• Experience with big data frameworks such as Spark, Flink, or Kinesis.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their data services.
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake or data lake architectures.
• Familiarity with modern data stack tools and practices.
• Passion for building elegant, scalable, and maintainable systems.
