Salary: $178,000 – $313,000 annually (depending on pay zone) + RSUs

What you will do

• Design, implement, and operate critical scalable services, including user identity, friend graphs, and core persistence layers.
• Collaborate across teams to understand product requirements and evaluate technical trade-offs.
• Advocate for and apply best practices regarding availability, scalability, and cost management.
• Utilize AI tools and high-velocity workflows to ship scalable services while maintaining rigorous code standards.
• Test, debug, and ensure high quality and security of production-ready code.

Requirements

• 6+ years of post-Bachelor’s software development experience (or equivalent with Master's/PhD).
• Strong experience with distributed systems and large-scale microservices.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, and/or Python.
• Experience with NoSQL solutions, Memcache/Redis, Kubernetes, or Google/AWS services.
• Ability to leverage AI tools for development while auditing output for architectural integrity and security risks.
