What you will do

• Oversee ecological construction operations across the Northeastern US, primarily in New York State.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, equipment, and client interactions.
• Lead business development through networking, conference attendance, and proposal preparation.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff to support professional growth.
• Maintain relationships with public agencies, regulators, and private developers.
• Develop program budgeting and strategic long-term planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, natural resources, ecology, geography, or a related field.
• 12-20 years of industry experience, with at least 10 years of progressive experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Deep knowledge of relevant New York State and Federal environmental regulations.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain client business relationships.
• Experience in leading and mentoring junior team members.

• OSHA 30 Hour Construction Safety Training.
• Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioner (CERP) certification.
• Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS) certification.
