Transportation Project Engineer

Location: Rochester, New York, United States; on-site

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop transportation and highway projects from technical studies through design and plan preparation.
• Perform research, prepare reports and specifications, and complete technical discipline work.
• Serve as a project engineer on larger assignments and as a project manager on selected projects.
• Support project managers with client meetings and business development activities.
• Prepare and coordinate proposals to help secure new work.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of progressive transportation design experience.
• Strong technical expertise in transportation and/or highway engineering.
• Proven experience developing transportation and/or highway projects.
• Ability to work on-site in the Rochester, New York office.
