What you will do

• Lead overall transmission line design for all capital projects.
• Review and design plan and profile drawings using PLSCAD to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Drive project plans for transmission line routing and strategy, including rebuild vs. new right-of-way decisions.
• Conduct technical studies including insulation, grounding, and A/C interference.
• Utilize LiDAR and environmental data for structure placement and design.
• Perform detailed estimate and probability modeling for project planning.

Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering experience in the functional area.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Ability to work on-site in Pittsfield, MA.
