What you will do

• Supervise fire protection staff and develop concepts, construction documents, and engineering reports.
• Establish and lead a specialized fire protection group focused on system design and code review.
• Design and manage fire sprinkler, fire alarm, and smoke control systems (using Contam).
• Perform code and egress analysis for new constructions and renovations.
• Execute hydraulic calculations and manage project financial performance and schedules.
• Handle client relationships and business development through proposal writing.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience with a professional A/E services firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Fire Science.
• New York Professional Engineer’s License preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and writing skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure.
