What you will do

• Negotiate and settle large exposure commercial general liability and property claims.
• Prepare written status and large loss reports for clients.
• Interpret routine and complex policy contracts and coverage to determine liability.
• Direct and monitor defense counsel to settle litigated claims and provide monetary authority.
• Establish and maintain reserves and payments to ensure financial accuracy.
• Attend mediations and settlement conferences as necessary.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Proven ability to determine, evaluate, and resolve complex liability claims.
• Strong knowledge of current case law, statutory law, and DOI regulations.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills for claim resolution.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines.
• Superb written and verbal communication skills.
