What you will do

• Adjudicate assigned complex claims and provide operational support to the claims team.
• Strategize settlement opportunities for Construction Defect and 3rd Party Property Damage claims.
• Draft and review coverage analyses and monitor litigation with local defense counsel.
• Continually assess exposures and maintain adequacy of claim reserves.
• Collaborate with the Claims, Underwriting, and Actuarial feedback loop.
• Liaise daily with insureds and brokers to ensure fast and fair resolution of claims.

Requirements

• 10+ years of claims handling experience in General Liability & Bodily Injury.
• Expert knowledge of the litigation process, negotiation, and coverage within the specialty.
• Proven ability to lead litigation and positively affect high-severity claim outcomes.
• Must be based in the US and able to work hybrid (2 days/week) in the Atlanta office.
• B.A./B.S. degree preferred; JD from an ABA accredited law school is considered a supplement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and advanced analytical skills.
