Senior Manager Business Operations

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, California. Must be able to reliably commute to office near Union Square. Preference for candidates within 25-mile radius. Authorized to work in the United States. No visa sponsorship available.

Salary: $150,000 - $185,000 per year.

Overview

Lead key initiatives to optimize payment processes, enhance operational efficiency, and support strategic growth. Collaborate across teams to drive business success and contribute to bridging legacy banking systems with Web3 technologies.

What you will do

• Lead and execute top-priority initiatives including scaling liquidity, financial operations, go-to-market strategies, vendor transitions, and investor communications.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, and external vendors to establish robust financial and regulatory systems.
• Support founders and senior leadership with board meeting preparation, strategic planning, and roadmap development.
• Create tools, documentation, and processes to reduce operational drag and scale knowledge, leveraging automation and AI-assisted tools.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, finance, product operations, or consulting, preferably in early-stage crypto, fintech, or top-tier consulting firms.
• Experience supporting C-suite or acting as Chief of Staff or Business Operations lead.
• Strong project management skills with cross-functional scope.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to operate in fast-moving, evolving environments with limited structure.
• Background in high-growth or early-stage startups with experience building scalable systems.
