What you will do

• Lead corporate transactions including M&A, reorganisations, restructures, and private equity work.
• Draft, negotiate, and advise on corporate documentation such as shareholder and investment agreements.
• Act as a trusted advisor to corporate clients, delivering commercially focused and pragmatic legal counsel.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior lawyers and trainees within the team.
• Support the Head of Commercial with strategic direction, performance monitoring, and growth initiatives.
• Drive business development efforts to identify and convert new growth opportunities across the practice.

Requirements

• Significant post-qualification experience in corporate law.
• Strong technical expertise in corporate transactions and governance.
• Proven ability to manage complex cases and run deals autonomously.
• Commercial awareness with a track record of converting business opportunities.
• Leadership skills with experience in supervising and mentoring others.
• Experience managing own caseload, budgets, and financial targets.
