EMEA Legal Counsel - Assistant Vice President

Location: London, England; office work Monday–Thursday with remote work on Friday

hirify.global operates in the alternative investment ecosystem and is expanding its international business in EMEA.

What you will do

• Draft and negotiate agreements with major fund managers and distribution agents.
• Draft and review private fund offering materials, partnership agreements, side letters, placement agreements, and related documentation.
• Represent private funds sponsored in EMEA, predominantly Luxembourg- and Cayman-domiciled funds.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel on regulatory, corporate, and fund investment matters.
• Develop and execute new fund structures, strategic initiatives, and business lines.
• Drive legal projects to on-time and on-budget completion while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of fund formation experience in investment management, particularly private equity and hedge funds.
• Qualified in Luxembourg, the U.K., a member in good standing of the New York bar, or qualified in another jurisdiction.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg corporate structures and regulatory matters.
• Ability to analyze complex concepts, work proactively, and operate efficiently in a changing business environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, high integrity, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in the London office Monday–Thursday is required; remote work is available on Friday.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, and the Securities Act of 1933.
• Knowledge of fund and cross-border regulations.
