Solicitor - Disease Team

Location: Belfast, United Kingdom; hybrid working with the primary location at the Belfast office.

What you will do

• Manage a varied caseload of litigated disease matters with appropriate supervision and mentoring.
• Deliver high-quality legal services to litigation clients while meeting agreed service standards.
• Build effective relationships with clients and colleagues, including attending client meetings when appropriate.
• Contribute to knowledge-sharing, training, articles, blogs, tender submissions, and client pitches.
• Help develop and implement strategies for responding to and managing opponent behaviours.

Requirements

• Newly Qualified solicitor with up to 2 years PQE and experience in litigation, including defendant work.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Experience using case management systems.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Nice to have

• Experience in an insurance-focused litigation practice.
• Interest in business development, client engagement, and wider team initiatives.
