Staff Engineer, Frontend - Domains Growth (React)

Location: Hybrid: Must be based in New York City (office 3 days per week)

Salary: $185,500 - $299,000 USD

What you will do

• Drive the architecture, design, and implementation of critical frontend systems and client platforms.
• Provide hands-on guidance and technical leadership to multiple engineering teams.
• Design and maintain advanced user interfaces and reusable components using modern frameworks.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to define and build new features.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning.
• Champion best practices in code quality, accessibility, performance, and testing.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in frontend web development.
• Proven track record of designing complex, high-performance, and scalable web applications.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Strong understanding of web performance, security, and accessibility principles.
• Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, Azure).
