What you will do

• Provide expert advice on day-to-day HR issues, disciplinaries, grievances, and disputes.
• Manage Employment Tribunal cases from start to finish, including drafting claims and preparing evidence.
• Draft and review employment contracts, policies, settlement agreements, and handbooks.
• Advise clients on complex legal issues including TUPE and collective consultation.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members to develop their legal skills.
• Deliver training, updates, and thought leadership to clients and colleagues.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor or barrister (UK) with a current practising certificate.
• Strong experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment law.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness and a client-first mindset.
• Must be able to work on a hybrid basis from the Manchester office.
