Senior Associate - Employment Law

What you will do

• Advise clients on day-to-day HR issues, disciplinaries, grievances, disputes, settlements, and employment strategies.
• Draft and review contracts, policies, settlement agreements, handbooks, and other employment documents.
• Advise on complex employment matters, including TUPE and collective consultation.
• Manage Employment Tribunal cases from start to finish, including claims, responses, applications, witness statements, evidence, counsel briefings, and hearings.
• Deliver training, updates, and thought leadership while supporting business development and client relationships.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• Qualified UK solicitor or barrister with a current practising certificate.
• Strong experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment law.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness and a client-first mindset.
• Experience supervising or mentoring others, or readiness to take on this responsibility.
