Legal Counsel - Connectivity (Telecoms)

Location: London, UK; hybrid working with 3 days in the Osterley office per week. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Negotiate and draft commercial contracts for technology and telecoms solutions supporting residential and B2B connectivity.
• Advise commercial, strategy, finance, and other stakeholders on legal and commercial risks and propose business-focused solutions.
• Work with the legal Managed Service Provider on contracts, including developing playbooks and templates.
• Support automation, self-service guidance, and the use of AI in legal work.
• Develop and maintain know-how and training materials for legal colleagues and relevant stakeholders.
• Build relationships, collaborate across the business, and report progress to stakeholders and the legal team.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer based in the UK.
• Experience in the telecoms and/or technology sector, in private practice or in-house, with a track record of working closely with commercial teams.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and matters in a fast-paced environment; proactive and well-organised.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build trust, rapport, and effective collaboration across the group.
• Creative and solutions-oriented approach with the ability to think laterally and develop customer-focused solutions.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to distil complex issues into clear, concise advice for commercial stakeholders.
