What you will do

• Lead and empower a large organization of 70-100+ risk investigators to drive continuous improvement and operational effectiveness.
• Oversee complex fraud tactical teams, including assessment, quantification, and implementation of mitigation strategies.
• Utilize data-driven insights to track KPIs, measure program effectiveness, and develop business cases to streamline fraud detection.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, including the Operations Director and Chief Risk Officer, to align on strategic vision.
• Advocate for customers by balancing risk decisions with the impact of friction points on user experience.
• Conduct in-depth investigations of risk-based anomalies and make high-stakes decisions regarding financial risk.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in fraud investigations, underwriting, or risk operations within banking or financial services.
• 5+ years of operational leadership experience, including 3+ years managing teams of 50+ people.
• Must be able to work on-site in Atlanta, Georgia, on a hybrid basis.
• Proven ability to translate business objectives into actionable plans and measurable success.
• Strong analytical acumen with the ability to use data to identify problems and inform strategic decisions.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
