What you will do

• Develop and maintain health and safety policies to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
• Supervise the site HSE Lead and collaborate with the Cable Plant H&S Manager.
• Drive employee engagement to achieve a "zero injuries" safety culture.
• Manage safety incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Lead internal and external health and safety audits and coordinate with regulatory agencies.
• Develop and execute facility-specific safety training programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health or a related field.
• 8+ years of direct H&S experience, including OSHA compliance and risk analysis.
• 3+ years of experience in cable or fiber manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of US health and safety regulations.
• Must be based in Claremont, NC (site-level role).

Nice to have

• CSP Certification.
• Experience with ISO Management Systems (14001, 45001).
• Experience with OSHA PSM Standard.
